A few great ways to spend your evening at The Borough, Lancaster

 

In a recent post by StudentHQ on 5 brilliant student pubs in Lancaster, The Borough is mentioned as one of the top places to attend for live events.

The Borough, in partnership with The Lancaster Comedy Club, features a live stand-up event. Everyone is welcome to come enjoy themselves and have a laugh. It’s hosted upstairs in our spacious Drawing Room, which accommodates a sizeable crowd.

The Comedy Club has welcomed the likes of John Bishop, Chris Ramsey, Romesh Ranganathan, and The Boy With Tape On His Face to audiences in Lancaster. Established in 2009, it’s one of the most eventful places to visit and have a laugh.

Our early bird tickets start at £8 and can be purchased by 4 pm on the day of the event. Alternatively, if you can’t make an earlier purchase then you can buy them at the door for £10. You can also purchase gift vouchers for your friends or family to come and visit.

Better yet, if you’re a student then you can get two for one tickets alongside our delightful meal deal. Just show us your student card upon arrival and you’ll receive 10% off your drinks.

Thirsty? We host a large variety of drinks downstairs to entertain your taste buds. In the back, there’s a cozy beer garden you can enjoy while you wait for the event to start or on a nice sunny day.

Additionally, groups and coach tours often attend, typically for lunch in the main restaurant or in our private function room. The coach tours cover area’s like Leighton Hall, Lancaster Castle, Lancaster Canal Tours, Williamson’s Park, and many more.
